Ecology and Health International charity non-governmental foundation “ECOSAN” held a meeting in Taekwondo Association (WTF) of Uzbekistan devoted to Teachers Day with participation of staff of Association as a part of mentors and athletes.
Main goal of the meeting is assistance to increase of ecological culture, promotion of a healthy lifestyle among youth.
As the executive director of Taekwondo Association Bakhtiyor Hakimov told to participants of the event Taekwondo Association of Uzbekistan was created on August 6, 1993 and it the same year became the member of the Taekwondo World Federation. Now continues the activity in all areas of Uzbekistan, Tashkent and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, ranks of Taekwondo athletes everywhere grow. As a result of effective trainings and efforts of mentors’ three Taekwondo athletes of our country - Dmitry Shokin, Nikita Rafalovich and Nigora Tursunkulova took part at the XXXI summer Olympic Games in Brazil. They actively participated in competitions, but it hasn't the luck to be in the ranks of prize-winners, however, returned, having received skills and experience of participation at the international competitions.
At the meeting Nigora Tursunkulova shared the impressions about participation at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. She noted that participation in these Taekwondo Olympic Games became a big lesson for our athletes. Undoubtedly, this wealth of experience will be a positive impulse to our athletes who will participate in November, 2016 in World Taekwondo Junior Championships which will be carried out in Bernabi, Canada. All these athletes congratulated mentors on Teachers Day and wished them success in life, including in a field of development of Taekwondo in Uzbekistan.
The head of department of “ECOSAN” Fund Mirkarim Mirsovurov who made a speech at the meeting congratulated coaches of Association on their professional Day, wished success, and also handed a package of literature and color posters on ecology, on a humanitarian basis, for creation of "the Ecology Corner".
The head of Association invited participants of the meeting to excursion on a complex under construction for Association on the basis of the state project for development of sport in Uzbekistan, on the bank of the lake of National park of Alisher Navoi. Upon termination of the event he thanked the management of "ECOSAN" for joint effective cooperation, especially, on an appeal: "My life, my destiny – my lovely Uzbekistan!", and also hoped that these interactions will be successfully continued within social partnership.
